Mitch Meyer
Account Director – West Pipeline Assets
Mitch Meyer has over 23 years of natural gas experience, beginning with a major pipeline company as a natural gas scheduler. He worked his way into a business development role, assisting in the marketing of two major expansion projects into Chicago and North Hayden, Indiana. In 2003, he transitioned into an account management role with a major gas marketing company where he marketed long-term asset management arrangements, commodity sales and hedging products to midcontinent LDC’s and end-use customers.
Mr. Meyer joined TC Energy in 2018 as an account manager with the company’s U.S. Natural Gas pipelines long-term marketing team, focusing on the West natural gas pipeline assets. He is responsible for marketing long-term gas transportation on Gas Transmission Northwest, Tuscarora Gas Transmission, North Baja Pipeline and Northern Border Pipeline. His experience in many facets of the natural gas value chain allows him to provide insight to various industry issues from several different points of view.
Mr. Meyer earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing Management from Bellevue University in Omaha, Nebraska.
Alex Harris
Director, NGTL Marketing
I have been with TC Energy focusing on our Canadian Gas assets since 2004. With a Masters in Economics, I started my career in Regulatory but have now spent more time in Commercial. Having had accountability for our collaborative industry forums, I was closely involved in our most recent rate settlements on the NGTL and Canadian Mainline systems. As of mid-Nov 2022, I have stepped into the role of Director, NGTL Marketing, and am excited to work with customers on this important infrastructure through a critical time in industry.
On a personal note, I’m married with three great kids who are no longer needing much parenting, so I have more time for me. I just sold a classic truck I curated for a couple of years, my wife and I have been enjoying our new two-wheelers, and I’m learning Spanish.
