The PNWER Annual Summit is unique for bringing together over 600 legislators, policymakers, and private sector members throughout Canada and the U.S. to discuss issues important to Canada-U.S. relations, including trade, innovation, energy and environmental sustainability, disaster resilience, infrastructure, economic development, and many more. PNWER is a statutory, public-private partnership chartered by the western Canadian provinces of Alberta, British Columbia, and Saskatchewan, and Yukon and Northwest Territories, and the states of Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, and Washington. PNWER is recognized by both Canada and the United States as the model for regional and bi-national cooperation.
