Janet Kelly

Director, Government Affairs

Janet Kelly joined Puget Sound Energy in 2008 and serves as the Director of Government Affairs.   She and her team support PSE’s advocacy, engagement with elected officials and public policy strategy at the federal, tribal, state and local levels. Over the past five years, she has led and participated in policy initiatives related to regulatory reform, tax reform, decarbonizing PSE’s energy supply and transportation. She currently serves on the Board of Governors for KidsQuest Children’s Museum, the Washington Research Council and is incoming Chair of the Issaquah Chamber of Commerce. 

 

Janet worked on Capitol Hill in Washington D.C. for five years where she learned the intricacies of the legislative process.  She holds a degree from the University of California, Los Angeles and served as captain of the NCAA UCLA Women’s Swimming and Diving team.  She and her husband, along with their two daughters, live in Sammamish.

Ron Roberts

Vice President, Energy Supply

Ron Roberts is vice president of energy supply for Puget Sound Energy. Ron is responsible for PSE’s generation and natural gas storage assets, generation and transmission development, and the energy supply merchant function. He also oversees Puget LNG, a subsidiary of Puget Energy. Prior to his current role, Ron served as PSE’s director of generation and natural gas storage.

Ron has worked in engineering, long range planning, construction management, environmental health and safety, and permitting in the mining, chemical and utility generation industries. He brings to PSE a strong focus on safety, excellent operational leadership skills, and a commitment to helping PSE become an even stronger clean energy provider of choice for our customers.

Ron graduated from the Colorado School of Mines with a BSc in Mining Engineering and a minor in Economics. He serves on the boards of the PSE Foundation and the Northwest Gas Association.
