General Statement on Privacy

We recognize the importance of protecting the personal information you provide through the Association’s website which is owned and controlled by the Northwest Gas Association.

Collection of Non-Personally Identifiable Information

Our web servers automatically capture non-personally identifiable information including, but limited to, your domain name, the IP address of the web page from which you enter our site, the pages that you visit on our site, the click-through rates, and the amount of time that you spend here. However, the individual user will remain anonymous. We may use and analyze this data for trends and to improve our site. Any non-personally identifiable information that we give to third parties will be provided in aggregate form only.


Collection of Personally Identifiable Information

When you engage in activities such as registering for events or to order various NWGA publications, you may be required to submit personal information to NWGA. This information will include data such as your name, company name, address, phone number, fax number, and e-mail address. This information may be shared with other event attendees, event sponsors or third parties providing services to NWGA. If you choose not to provide the information that is requested by NWGA, you may continue to visit the site, but you may be unable to access certain offers, services or secure pages. NWGA will not provide any personally identifiable information to any other third parties without your consent. However, NWGA reserves the right to provide personally identifiable information to third parties if NWGA reasonably believes that this release of information is necessary: 1. to comply with legal requirements or legal process; 2. to protect and defend the rights or property of NWGA; or 3. to protect the other users of the site or the public.

Privacy with Respect to Minors

NWGA does not knowingly collect or use information from children under the age of 13 without the consent of a parent or guardian.



When you visit our website, we may place a cookie on your computer that will allow us to track your visit to our site and help us to improve the site. The cookies will not provide NWGA with any personally identifiable information about you.

Other Web Sites and Links

NWGA web site contains links to other web sites including third party service providers who may provide, among other things, membership application, event registration, online-survey, and publication sales services. If you choose to use any of these links, you will be leaving NWGA’s web site and going to a new web site. Although our site has industry standard security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information that is under our control, NWGA cannot guarantee complete security.

Credit Card Information

The NWGA does not directly collect credit card information that you provide when you make payments by credit card or electronic checks for dues, registration fees or other services, nor does the NWGA hold your information on file. Instead, we use a third-party, such as Stripe or Quick Books. These institutions take privacy seriously and are responsible for the information you provide. Irrespective of your domicile or place of doing business, by using this web site, you agree that NWGA may collect, use and transfer your information as described in this Privacy Policy Statement.
