About the event

With the 2021 WA State Energy Code (WSEC), the State Building Code Council (SBCC) has voted to approve limitations on using natural gas in commercial and residential buildings, effective July 1, 2023. With the complexity of the energy codes, identifying pathways for the continued use of natural gas is a priority for utilities, developers, and the trades. To assist in identifying pathways for the code-compliant use of natural gas, Cascade Natural Gas is pleased to facilitate a discussion regarding these opportunities and to demonstrate a series of flowcharts aimed at simplifying the pathways available in the energy code.
